I felt with my gut that Joy (founder) really wanted and could do something in Belgium with her cooking skills...
Joy came up with a strong idea: she wanted to surprise people in Belgium with the art of Thai food.
I immediately joined that, as I had enjoyed Joy's cooking for years, I was sure this was an opportunity to let Joy grow in her abilities and be independent in Belgium.
Our dreams began to live.., we sensed the potential of our ideas.
As a co-founder, I feel my crucial role in the success of our company.
After the successful start with Asian Taste catering in 2016, we started the adventure with Asian Taste Catering and Foodtruck together in 2018, where I was able to use my practical knowledge and experience perfectly to realize our shared dream. With a solid background in various technical courses — as an electrician, mechanic, technician and woodworker, I had many skills needed to tackle the technical side of the business.
This background enabled me to build our own food trucks with Joy.
In the meantime, I have also studied accounting, mailing and maintaining customer relationships. This allows Joy to fully concentrate on what she does best, preparing, cooking and presenting the delicious Thai dishes that make Asian Taste so unique. Me and Joy are a close team, where cooperation and mutual love form the basis for the success of our company.
Every time we host an event or our food trucks are at a family or company party, it's special for us to see how many happy people there are enjoying our Asian delicacies.
